It was powered by an all-aluminum 3.0L V6, which featured Honda’s VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system and until 1994, was offered solely with a 5-speed manual transmission.The Car was initially presented at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show before production began in a purpose-made factory in Japan from early1990. Initially, the NSX was only available as a Coupe, before the introduction of a Targa top (NSX-T) in 1995.This spectacular example was purchased New from Acura Carlsbad, CA in late-1995 by James R Johnston, before being acquired by the second owner in June 2003 when the odometer reflected just over 13,000 miles.When New, this NSX-T carried an MSRP of $81,725. Finished in Black with a full Black Leather interior, the 3.0L V6 DOHC 24-Valve engine produced 270hp.
